Today is my dear mom's birthday! I went and bought her some flowers at Kroger this morning, and while I was standing outside the front entrance, holding the bouquet and waiting for my dad to come around and pick me up I hear this lady walking by me say "Oh, You look just like a bride!" Bahahahahaha it cracked me up but I was just like "Oh haha," and then dad got there.;)
But anyways, onto a more serious topic. Yesterday, my dog, Trixi, got bit by a snake, her face got as big as a balloon and she was miserable. It was scarry, so we took her to the vet and he very calmly asked us if we have "Water Moscassins" at our house. *hehe* Well anyways we told him that we were pretty sure we did and he said that even though we couldn't be sure that was what bit her he was going to go ahead and treat her for that, just to be on the safe side.
So he gave her a shot which definitely made her feel LOTS better and now we are giving her a half a benadryl every six hours and an antibiotic every twelve hours. The swelling is almost all the way down, which is awesome, and she is very much enjoying the fact that she has to stay in the house for several days! So that story seems to be ending happily and I am glad of it!(please forgive any gramatical mistakes, I wrote this in a hurry :)).

My daybook
Well, the other day I was at a blog and the girl had done a type of post which I thought looked like tons of fun so I'm gonna do the same kind. Here goes!
Outside my window: I can see the donkey pasture me and my dad built and a few chickens calmly pecking in the yard!
I am thinking: About my new found love for Nilla Wafer cookies.
I am listening to: My mom putting away dishes and my dad talking on the phone.
I am looking forward to: Going to a homesteading meeting tomorrow morning and going to schlitterbahn on Saturday!
I am wearing: Blue and white exercise shorts and a brown T-shirt that says (RECON)NECT.
I am reading: The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
I am hoping: That my sister who is in Houston makes it home safely!
One of my favorite things: Ballet!
What I want to be: At the present time, a photographer!

What summers are made of
My family finally got internet!!! So I can start posting like a normal blogger person, YAY!
Life has been fairly normal, and I think I’m starting to get into summer mode! The ballet recital is all over, it came off VERY well and I found out I’m getting on pointe next year, I am so excited!
I don’t have too many plans for the summer, but I hope to go to a ballet camp, possibly go to Schlitterban and participate in our annual kousins kamp. Oh and I’m also getting two donkeys aaaahhh I’m so excited about them. We already have a little pasture fenced for them and now we just have to build their barn, then we get to go and pick up the cuties!
Another exciting thing that happened is I got a haircut, I get so nervous whenever I get it cut I literally get a stomach ache, but it ended up being exactly what I wanted!
About five days ago a hen of ours who was broody had nine eggs hatch, there were only two eggs that didn’t, so that was pretty exciting! But sadly we did lose a baby chick three days ago. :(
This past weekend I went to visit Camp Tejas (where one of my sisters works) me and my other sister drove for four hours in a car with no AC it was VERY exciting. But on our way there we stopped in College Station and I got to visit my (hopefully) future college campus, Texas A&M University, It was awesome!
Being at camp was tons of fun, I loved it because people kept coming up with nicknames for me, such as: Mini Mcclure, Esther’s brother, (just so you know, I’m a girl ;) and Aveo (the guy thought that was what I said when I told him my name was Abigail) haha! Also while I was at camp I got to learn how to belay people on the rock climbing wall, that was super cool! Plus I got to go off the zip line, which was also LOTS of fun! :)

random info!
Three days until my birthday! Wow it sure did sneak up on me this year. It's funny usually I'm counting off the days until it but this year I'm just kinda like, 'Wow it's here!'
Anyways my ballet recital is also coming up in about a month and I'm probably more excited about that than I am my birthday. :) We're doing Cinderella and I'm a maid :P It's gonna be super fun!
This year we are growing a big garden and it is so neat we are growing onions, swiss chard, cantaloupes, squash and zucchini, purple hull peas, cucumbers, eggplant, tomatoes, corn and green beans! I also have a pear tree which has eleven little pears on it! (pictures to follow)
I'm planning on soon starting a organizing project of our carport which has a bunch of junk under it, I will be continuing to make posts on this project!
Well time for this random bunch of information to end, I hopefully will post again soon. :)

A fun weekend!
This weekend so far has been absolutely amazingly fun!! On friday I got to go to the park with a group of friends. We hung out, swing danced and had tons of fun, oh and I busted my upper lip! Then Esther (my sister) brought me yummy food and took me to meet up with Sarah, (my other sister) and my "adopted" sister Brittney! Then lastly we all went home, had dinner and did sudoku puzzles! All in all, I thought it was a pretty awesome day! :D
Today has been amazing because I got to sleep in crazy late, I made friends with our neighbors dog who has always just run away as soon as it sees me, I'm making my first blog post and I'm looking forward to tonight when my sisters, a friend, and I are all going to watch an old fashioned movie and drink tea. ;) Sounds like it'll be another awesome day!!
